Turkey closes airspace to Israel Air Force, Jerusalem declares IHH terrorists

Turkey launched a plan Wednesday night (June 16) to campaign on all fronts for a worldwide boycott of Israel and decided to introduce sanctions leading to the severance of bilateral relations. Its pretext was the absence of a formal apology from Jerusalem for the naval commando raid on the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara (“Blue Marmara”), which left 8 activists dead, and its rejection of an international inquiry of the incident.

UPDATE: “Non-denial” Denial from Obama Administration Regarding UN Flotilla Investigation

“We are open to different ways of ensuring the credibility of this Israeli-led investigation, including international participation, and have been in intensive talks with our Israeli partners in the past few days on how to move forward,” said the official. “We know of no resolution that will be debated at the UN on the flotilla investigation next week.” [emphasis added]

It appears that for the first time in modern Israeli history, it is possible for this prophecy to be fulfilled. Since Harry Truman stood with Israel at their inception on May 14, 1948, the US has been the one nation that Israel could count on to stand with them. But coming next week, that will change as the US not only supports a condemnation of Israel, but it appears that the US Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, has been actively formulating the resolution against Israel. Many have documented the correlation between past US criticisms of Israel and tragedies in the US. I feel that Believers should watch for this to happen when the UN passes this resolution next week. May God have mercy on us all.
